Invenia: how I built an AI platform that finds clients for freelancers
From idea to billing: conversational AI input, Google Places data, lead scoring from 0 to 100, PDF reports and subscriptions. The story of my SaaS app.

Every freelancer knows the feeling: you have the skills, you have the time, but you don't have clients. So you open Google Maps and start searching by hand for hair salons without a website, one by one. Three hours later you have a list of a dozen names and no idea who to contact first.
Invenia was born out of exactly that problem. The name comes from the Latin word invenio, meaning "I find, I discover".
What Invenia does
You describe who you're looking for in a couple of sentences, for example "hair salons in Zagreb without a website". Within minutes you get a scored list of potential clients, with short advice on how to approach each one.

How it works, step by step
1. Choosing a niche
The user picks one of two niches and describes the city and type of business in a sentence or two:
- Clients for web services: local businesses with no website, only a social media profile, a site on a free builder without their own domain, or a domain that fails technical checks.
- Partner agencies: for freelancers looking for collaboration or subcontracting. Here the scoring is reversed: it looks for well-run agencies with a tidy website, recent reviews and enough work to need outside help.
2. A conversation instead of a long form
Instead of a form with twenty fields, an AI assistant asks questions until it has everything it needs. If the query is too weak to give good results, it warns the user before a search is spent. A search is only used once the user confirms the summary.
3. Collecting, scoring and advice
The data comes from Google Places. The system then analyzes each business's website, gives it a score from 0 to 100 based on the logic of the chosen niche, and writes three sentences of advice on how to approach that client. The user watches the processing live.
4. Results and a PDF report
Results open as a table and cards in the app, and a PDF report also arrives by email, so the user keeps it permanently.

Privacy as an advantage
Lead data is deleted from the servers 48 hours after it is generated. Only basic search metadata (date, niche, status) is kept permanently, with no names or contacts. IP addresses linked to registration are stored only as a hash, for 30 days at most. The only lasting copy of the leads is the PDF the user keeps.
Pricing model
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Free | €0 | 3 searches after email verification, no card |
| Classic | €15 per month | up to 300 potential clients, 20 searches, up to 15 leads per search |
| Pro | €45 per month | up to 1,200 potential clients, 60 searches, up to 20 leads per search |
| Single search | €2 | no subscription, never expires |
Is it worth it for a freelancer?
Example calculation for a web developer
Example| Finding 15 leads by hand | about 3 hours |
|---|---|
| The same search in Invenia | a few minutes |
| Time saved with 10 searches a month | about 30 hours |
| One new client | €400 for a simple website |
| Price of the Classic plan | €15 per month |
One client a month pays back the subscription more than 25 times
Illustrative example with assumed numbers. How many leads become clients depends on your offer and how you approach them.
What I built
Invenia isn't a brochure website, it's a complete product:
- a sales homepage and pricing page
- registration and email verification
- a conversational AI assistant for entering requests
- a connection to Google Places data
- automatic website analysis and scoring from 0 to 100
- live processing status
- PDF reports delivered by email
- subscriptions and one-off purchases
- automatic data deletion after 48 hours
What this project means for you
If you have an idea for an online service, an internal app or a tool that saves time, Invenia shows I can build it from scratch: from design and the sales page to user accounts, AI, billing and automation.
