Privacy policy

Protecting your personal data matters to me. This page explains what data I process, why, for how long and what your rights are. I process data only in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG).

2. What data I process

Contact form and free video review form

When you send me a message through a form, I process the data you enter: your name, email address, the package you chose, your message and, for the video review, the address of your website.

  • Purpose: replying to your inquiry, preparing a quote or recording the video review.
  • Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and my legitimate interest in replying to inquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Sending emails: form messages are delivered through Resend (Resend, Inc., USA), which forwards your inquiry to me and sends you an automatic confirmation of receipt. Inquiries arrive in my Gmail (Google) inbox. Data is transferred to the USA on the basis of appropriate safeguards under Art. 44 et seq. GDPR, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Communication by email, phone or WhatsApp

If you contact me directly, I process the data you send me only to reply to your inquiry. Clicking the WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp, operated by Meta, and WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy also apply to that communication.

Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). On every visit, the server automatically logs technical data such as your IP address, the date and time of access, your browser and operating system. This data is used only for the security and proper operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is not linked to your identity.

Visitor statistics

I use Vercel Web Analytics for anonymous visitor statistics (for example, how many people visited and which pages they came from). This tool does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites. The data is shown only in aggregate form and does not allow you to be identified. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in understanding and improving the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Fonts

Fonts are loaded directly from this website. No connection to Google's servers is made when you visit.

3. Cookies and local storage

This website does not use cookies for tracking or advertising, so it does not show a cookie banner.

This website does not save anything in your browser's local storage (localStorage). The site language is set only by the address (for example /en for English), so nothing is remembered on your device for that either.

4. How long I keep data

I keep inquiries for as long as needed to reply and for any resulting collaboration, and for no more than 3 years after our last contact. If we work together, the data needed for invoices is kept for as long as tax law requires (generally 7 years in Austria).

5. Your rights

You have the right at any time:

  • to access your data (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • to have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16)
  • to have your data erased (Art. 17)
  • to restrict processing (Art. 18)
  • to data portability (Art. 20)
  • to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21)

To exercise these rights, simply send an email to miskic.web@gmail.com.

If you believe the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.

6. Automated decision-making

I do not use automated decision-making or profiling.

7. Changes

I may update this privacy policy from time to time, for example when the services I use change. The current version is always published on this page.
